I’m Pete, a wedding photography based in Dumfries and Galloway, and this is the part where I’m meant to tell you about my family and my dog, or tell you that I like bourbon whiskey but the truth is I don’t really like talking about myself. However, it is super important that you find a wedding photographer that you can connect with and feel comfortable around. After all, besides your new spouse there is no-one else you’ll spend more time with on your wedding day. I really love doing what I do. I It’s such a big deal to photograph a wedding and that’s a fact that’s not lost on me. Capturing all those little details, subtle smiles and shared moments that will turn into memories that will last a lifetime. I have been shooting weddings since 2013 and it means as much to me now as it did back then. In fact, I still get butterflies with excitement on the morning of a wedding.

If I have learned one thing (other than how to take awesome wedding photos, obviously) it’s how to keep you and your guests relaxed and having a good time. My philosophy is that you have planned this day for months and months. You have invited your closest friends and family to help you celebrate your love and my job is to capture all of that.

I’ll keep things very chilled and won’t stress you out with timetables or try and control any part of your day. Instead, I will capture your day as it happens, making sure I get all the little details and all the natural and candid photo’s you want whilst keeping you calm, relaxed and informed the whole time.
